There would be nothing in a merger deal for GM, because Ford is in far worse shape. This really seems more designed to show that GM has considered all possible alternatives so that it is insulated from shareholder suits, i.e., that bum Kerkorian, when they decide not to have an "alliance" with the people that developed Le Car.合并对通用不利，因为福特的状况更差。这似乎更象是设计好了表明通用已经考虑到所有可能选择，这样它就与股东分离开， 也就是说，他们什么时候决定不与开发LE汽车的人结盟。
