Infiniti reportedly registers JX nameplate

　　Last week, Infiniti posted a side face of front part photo of a mysterious car at its official website, while Infiniti has submitted a number of new trademark name registration applications to the United States Patent and Trademark Office, and Canadian Federal Patent and Trademark Office. It is learned that the names have been applied are JX20, JX25, JX25h and JX30.

　　Through the current figures behind JX that has been submitted for registration, we can infer the engine displacement of JX series. JX20 may represent an entry-level four-cylinder engine that will be used on an upcoming crossover, while the JX25 may mean that the model will adopt Infiniti's 2.5-liter V6 engine, or will use a larger displacement four-cylinder engine. Trademark of the JX25h seems to suggest four-cylinder hybrid system that used on the Nissan Altima Hybrid. In addition, although Infiniti no longer produced 3.0-liter version of the VQV6 engine, the company can get a 3.0-liter diesel engine through partnership between Nissan and Renault. In terms of model, it is said maybe a small or medium crossover SUV.
