Changan Adjusts Personnel to Integrate

　　Changan Automobile Group of China adjusted the management of its Hafei Auto and Changhe Auto on January 5 and 6. Wu Xuesong, the former Vice President of Changan Auto now becomes the Chairman of Hafei. Zou Wenchao, the former Executive Vice President of Changan Ford Mazda is the Chairman of Changhe Auto. Changan assigned several executives to take charge of some key positions such as Chief Accountant in Hafei and Changhe. The personnel adjustment implies that Changan Automobile Group has officially opened a prelude to integrating Hafei and Changhe. Both new Chairmen will fully implement Changan's strategy.

　　China's Changan Automobile Group announced an adjustment to the personnel of Hafei Auto. The leader of the work team sent by Changan Wu Xuesong became the Chairman and General Manager of Hafei. The former Vice President and the General Manager of Hafei Dealership Network Kang Ping became the Party Secretary of Hafei. Previously Wu Xuesong is the Vice President of Changan Automobile Group and was responsible for the overseas business. The former Chairman of Hafei Auto was transferred to Changan Automobile and now he serves as the Vice President of Changan. The former Party Secretary of Hafei Auto Li Guochun will also be transferred to Changan in Chongqing and his specific duties are not clear at present. From October 2009 Du Yi was the Chairman and General Manger of Hafei Auto after serving in Dongan Power.

　　Previously Zou Wenchao served as the Executive Vice President of Changan Ford Mazda. After the reorganization between Changan and CNAC, he was promoted to Vice President of Changan Auto. Li Li was the deputy leader of the work team sent by Changan to Changhe. He had previously engaged in research and development in the Changan Automobile and he also served as the Vice President of the sales company of Changan. In addition, Tan Zhenhua, the former Vice President of Changhe Auto became the General Manger of Changhe Auto (Hefei). The former General Manager of Changhe Auto Zhou Shining is transferred back to China Aviation Industry Group and his current position is not clear.

　　Changan Automobile Group is expected to adjust the personnel of Dongan Power and Dongan Mitsubishi. Personnel adjustments in Hafei and Changhe were expected. At the beginning of the reorganization between Changan and CNAC, the President of Changan Automobile Group Xu Liuping said after Hafei and Changhe incorporated into Changan, "Six Stabilities" would be achieved including the "management would be relatively stable". Some people in Changan Group told Sohu Auto that the adjustments were in line with the “relatively stable" commitment.

　　Though Xu Liuping once announced the "Six Stabilities”, they know that high-level personnel adjustments are inevitable. The changes of Chairmen were inevitable. And Changan will assign some executives to take charge of several key positions including Chief Accountant since Changhe and Hafei are subsidiaries of Changan Auto which is the main body. Moreover, Changan has to send executives to serve as Hafei and Changhe's Chairman in order to implement his strategy and intentions. For Hafei Automobile, the personnel changes meant that executives and employees had to get notions about the ideas of the new Chairman.

　　Previously they were just beginning to understand the ideas and strategies carried out by the former Chairman Du Yi. Some clerks from Changan Automobile said that the personnel adjustment should be conducted sooner. Therefore Changan Group will integrate the business as soon as possible. The personnel adjustment is also conducive to implementing the strategy of Changan Automobile Group.

　　Prior to this, the Chairman of CNAC Auto Li Fangyong was appointed as the Vice Chairman of Changan Auto Group. The General Manager of CNAC Auto Zhao Guibin also entered the Board of Directors of Changan Automobile. The Party Secretary of CNAC Auto Lian Gang now is the Vice President of Changan Auto Group.

　　As to the personnel arrangements of Changan and Changhe, the intentions are different. Wu Xuesong is very familiar with overseas markets while Hafei has advantages in exports. Therefore Wu was assigned as the Chairman of Hafei. . Hafei’s major markets are in three provinces in Northeast and North China. Now Zou Wenchao is the Chairman of Changhe Auto. He has accumulated a wealth of experience in joint venture operations during his eight-year tenure as Executive Vice President of Changan Ford Mazda.
