Now the ministries are waiting for the response.

　　Last year China launched energy-saving and new energy vehicles demonstration and extension projects in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and other 13 cities. Based on the projects several new energy cars will enjoy subsidies.

　　The city bus whose length is over 10 meters was the focus of subsidy program. The subsidies for hybrid bus are up to 420,000 yuan and pure electric and fuel cell bus the subsidies are respectively 500,000 yuan and 600,000 yuan.

　　According to the Star Daily, the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and other government departments will expand the 13 pilot cities to 20, where they promote the use of energy-saving and new energy vehicles for buses, sanitation trucks and other public services. It will also come true that personal purchase of new energy vehicles will be financially subsidized in 2010. According to the report devised by several ministries, in five pilot cities consumers will obtain subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicles.
