Sohu Auto (at the press conference of Beijing International Automotive Exhibition): According to reports, 2010 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition (Auto China 2010) will be held in the New Beijing China International Exhibition Center, located in Tianzhu, and the old Exhibition Center in Jinganzhuang from April 25-May 2, 2010. More than 2100 automobile manufacturers from 16 countries or regions have registered to participate in the show with an exhibition area of nearly 200,000 square meters.
Sohu Auto learns from the press conference of the 11th Beijing International Automotive Exhibition at this afternoon that there will be total 990 units of vehicles appeared in this Beijing auto show, of which 89 automobiles will debut worldwide, including 75 units from domestic manufacturers, 14 units from multinational corporations. International multinational enterprises will release 41 units of autos to debut in Asia, 35 units in China. International companies will include General Motors, Ferrari, Volkswagen, Lamborghini, Audi, Honda, Ford, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, and Porsche. All of them have new cars to release to the world in this Automotive Exhibition, which has made the record.
In addition, there are 65 units of concept car to participate this auto show, including 37 units form multinational corporations. At the same time, 95 units of new energy vehicles will on display, which is the new high-light of this exhibition. Ducati from Italian will also reveal two motorcycles, which will first showed in Asia.
According to Wang Xia, Secretary-General of Organization Committee of Beijing International Automotive Exhibition, President of Auto Industry Sub-Committee of CCPIT, all of the global multinational enterprises have signed up for this auto show, and target this show as the most important global A-class automotive exhibition.
