Title sponsor was BASF Automotive Solutions, one of the biggest automotive suppliers of the world. In 2009, the second Symposium in Shanghai will again be strongly supported by BASF. Before a successful start in the demanding European markets there is still a great need for an exchange of knowledge on a top level. Both the Chinese auto executives and the European experts will equally gain from this exchange. That is why the CEAS 2009 has the support of the Chinese Auto Manufacturers Association (CAAM).
The speakers at the symposium will address important subjects such as: consumer and market trends in Europe, legal challenges, financing opportunities, technical and engineering prerequisites, logistics, branding and marketing strategies, and public and media relations.
