At present, State Grid has begun electric car charging station research in Shanghai, Tianjin and Xi'an and other cities. Among them, Tianjin will build 5 electric car charging station within this year and electric car charging stations are also under construction in Beijing.
It is reported that investment of electric car charging stations is small. Currently there is no problem in technology and dozens of charging pile can be build in a charging station. Increasing the construction of electric car charging station is consistent with the trend of the future low-carbon economy. By using the advantages of terminal sales of grid, we can seize the market as early as possible.
China Quality Newspaper reported average investment of a new electric car charging station is around 3 million RMB. Relevant experts at State Grid Energy Research Institute pointed out that because there is peak and valley price spreads, consumers can use period of relative low electricity price at night to supply daytime.
