EV charging stations is direction of CPCC

　　According to Voice of China’ report at 11:15 on May 6 in Beijing, the opening ceremony of China corporate social responsibility research base is being held today. And now the moderator is connecting with the on-the-spot CCTV reporter Liang Sheng.

　　Moderator: please tell us something about the launching ceremony.

　　Reporter: Li Chunguang, deputy general manager of CHINA PETROCHEMICAL CORPORATION, said the China corporate social responsibility research base is the first foundation built jointly by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and enterprises, which will definitely act as the important demonstration role in the development of China’s corporate social responsibility.

　　Li Chunguang pointed out at the ceremony that the project is not only a an significant measure to promote the corporate social responsibility, but also the first base founded by corporate social responsibility Research Center of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences together with the enterprises within the whole country. The aspects of the bilateral cooperation cover diagnosis and ratings of social responsibility reports, special training for social responsibility, research about social responsibility as well as case studies.

　　For example, to explore the evaluation model of reports on corporate social responsibility and promote the application of domestic standards for the ratings of social responsibility reports as well as to develop the studies on corporate social responsibility research base with the help of the experts and further ensure the reliability of reports on corporate social responsibility through the ratings and evaluation of a third party.

　　Director of the general office of CHINA PETROCHEMICAL CORPORATION acknowledged firstly when answered a reporter’s question at the ceremony that the corporation now is actively involved in the project of electric vehicle charging station. Since the construction of charging stations for electric vehicles is the future direction, being an energy supplier, presently CHINA PETROCHEMICAL CORPORATION is actively coordinating with the Beijing municipal government about relative issues. However, according to estimation, electric vehicle charging stations will not come out too fast for there is a technological bottleneck and not so many vehicles need to be charged. Nevertheless, CHINA PETROCHEMICAL CORPORATION will still vigorously participate in the charging station research.
