本特勒汽车工业底盘事业部 Rolf Siekaup简介

　　2009中国汽车工程学会年会将于2009年10月20-22日在北京铁道大厦举办。年会主要活动包括：先进汽车节能减排技术研讨会、专题分会场交流会、年美籍汽车专家来华讲学活动、技术参观等。以下是参会嘉宾Rolf Clemens Siekaup 博士简介：

本特勒汽车工业底盘事业部新市场开发经理 Rolf Clemens Siekaup 博士将做题为《底盘轻量化技术（Technology of Chassis Light Weight）》的技术报告。

　　Dr. Rolf Siekaup is Development Manager for New Markets in Product Group Chassis since August 2007. He is based in Paderborn, Germany, responsible for Benteler’s Chassis Engineering activities in Shanghai and Chennai, India.

　　During his 10 years with Benteler Automobiltechnik GmbH, and Heggemann aerospace AG, Dr. Siekaup has held several management positions in Engineering and Project Management.

　　His promotion to a Doctor for Mechanical Engineering was in 1999 at the University of Paderborn at the Institute for Joining Technologies (LWF) of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Ortwin Hahn. After leaving the University he started as a Development Engineer at Benteler Automotive mainly for British Customers. As well he took over Project Management responsibility. For a period of 2 years Dr. Siekaup moved to Eindhoven, Netherlands, starting in 2003. He became the responsible development manager for the chassis group of the Benteler Automotive Company PDE Automotive.

　　Starting 2005 Dr. Siekaup changed over to aerospace industry for a period of two years. At Heggemann aerospace AG he took over the responsibility for development management reporting to board level.

　　Turing back to Benteler Automotive August of 2007, Dr. Siekaup is now responsible for Benteler’s Chassis Engineering activities in Shanghai and Chennai, India.
