Mitsubishi Motors Focuses on EVs

　　Japan’s Mitsubishi Motors President Osamu Masuko said at the meeting that Mitsubishi would focus on developing electric vehicles.

　　Osamu Masuko said the reason that Mitsubishi invested into R & D of electric cars on the one hand was due to the new trends of auto industry, on the other hand, that Mitsubishi Motors had developed lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles. Many technologies have been achieved onthe MIEV electric car, developed by Mitsubishi Motors last year. Mitsubishi plans to introduce plug-in hybrid cars in2013.(Translator:Yalong/Jessie)
