2010 BAIC sets its sales goal at 1.5 m

　　According the magazine Automobilwoche, January 12, 2010, Beijing Automotive Industry Holdings Corporation announced its production and sales performance of 2009. In the whole year of 2009, the corporation has produced a total number of 1.271 million vehicles, up 64.7% from a year earlier. Meanwhile, the sales were 1.243 million units, up 61.1% from a year earlier. The sales incomes and profits are respectively 116.6 billion and6.13 billion Yuan, up 51.9%and 234.7 % from a year earlier. At last, its market share reached 9.11%, up 0.85 percentage points over the previous year.

　　The whole corporation has made a breakthrough of producing and selling out one million units and achieved the promise of building the first multi-billion enterprise groups in Beijing. In 2009 the growth of various indicators touched a record high.

　　In 2010, Beijing Automotive Industry Holdings Corporation proposes goals of producing and selling out 1.5 million vehicles and making 150 billion Yuan sales revenue. It is also planning to adjust the structure of the corporation, businesses, incomes, products as well as market.
