Dongfeng Honda: getting a break
November 23rd, Dongfeng Honda brought its full-line products débuted at 2009 Guangzhou International Auto Show to release brand slogan “confidence makes breaks” as well as their brand philosophy.
In May, Dongfeng Honda successfully finished 800 units each day. In August 19th its 500,000th Spirior was completed. in commodity strategic areas, under the influence of New Deal concerning to 1.6-liter cars, mid-class model CIVIC maintained a leading position in market segments, with six NO.1, CR-V became the leader of SUV market; with the orientation of high-class sport sedan Spirior created a new market segments. In the first 10 months of 2009, Dongfeng Honda achieved a sales volume of 168,649 units. With a growth of 23%, Honda exceeded the sales volume of 2008 two months in advance.
Developing rapidly and steadily, Dongfeng Honda is active in social welfare activities as a return to the society. In August 31st, in county Mao in Sichuan, Dongfeng Honda inspirational primary school began its first day, which was one of the first donated primary schools the first school was started. In November of this year, Dongfeng Honda won the award of “the most popular green mark” on the Third China Trademark Festival.
