Guangzhou Auto Honda: New Look New Trend
November 23rd, as the 1,000,000th sedan unveiled at Guangzhou Auto Show, Accord became the first high-class car brand that broke a total sales volume of one million units. Yao Yiming, Executive Vice President of Guangzhou Auto Honda asserted that from 1999 the first Accord was finished till now, Accord not only off the assembly line since the Accord has not only witnessed Chinese automobile industry’s “ten golden years”, but also have led the trends of Chinese auto market. Honda has created many top models and has become one of the most representative and appealing brands in Chinese auto market.
With a totally new corporate image of “Guangzhou Auto Honda”, Guangzhou Auto Honda appeared on Guangzhou Auto Show for the first time and took “Infinite trust • Infinite Joy” as the theme of the exhibition, introducing its brands such as the eighth generation of Accord, the new generation of Odyssey, Y City and the new generation of Fit. Meanwhile, in its exhibition area, Guangzhou Auto Honda set a special zone to show safety technology. The Accord of the eighth generation and Honda’s advanced pedestrian dummy used in the first vehicle-to-pedestrian crash tests were on show. In special zone for self-owned brands, there were two types of concept cars which fully demonstrated the philosophy of dynamic feeling and capability of Guangzhou Auto Honda to research and develop dependently.
