Xuan Qiwu, Chairman of IAT said the driving an electric car is fantastic except than it arouse no sound, which can not satisfy enthusiasts fond of large cars. As they press the accelerator, the sound of the engine and the exhaust pipe make them excited. When they go to a gas station, the smell of burning gasoline will make them feel that they are operating a large machine. But the micro and small electric cars can not arouse this kind of craziness.
For carmakers, they must find a way to get people to adapt to all these. The promotion of electric vehicles in Europe is relatively slow is just because the consumers are accustomed to big cars, which lead they always compare new energy vehicles to large-displacement gasoline and diesel vehicles, in this case, it is often difficult for them to accept new energy vehicles.
China has only 2,000 to 3,000 qualified automotive engineers
Xuan Qiwu, Chairman of IAT also pointed out only 2,000 to 3,000 persons in China can be called automotive engineers. The so-called engineers must be able to independently undertake a project. For example, if given an auto parts project, the engineer must be able to separately plan, think and complete the project.
