　　Editor’s Note: Infiniti is rising following BMW, Mercedes-Benz, with Lexus still stick to China, luxury car market in China is supposed to experience lots of uncertainties. Given competition increasing fierce, who will be winner?

　　On July 1, Infiniti China Business Unit ushered in its 2th anniversary of foundation. On June 18 at 8:30 , Lv Zhengyu, wearing a casual dress held an interview with Sohu Auto at the general manager’s office, which located in building 13 of south of Kerry Centre in the East Third Ring.

　　Sohu Auto: On July 1, Infiniti China Business Unit ushered in its 2th anniversary of foundation. What do you think its performance?

　　Lv Zhengyu: We indeed set off a little bit of waves in luxury car market in China over the past two years, though there was no big breakthrough. Compared with others, as a challenger, we must have a different voice.

　　Sohu Auto: Currently, some luxury brands provoke price war. Faced with the leaders and pursuers, how can Infiniti blaze a trail?

　　Lv Zhengyu: First, we do not participate in price war. Second, we do not support price war. Third, here I want to appeal to industry peers to seriously reflect on what can crazy price cut could bring to us?

　　Sohu Auto: Before mostly you are responsible for imported cars, considering that now Infiniti confirmed to be made in China, will you shift work?

　　Lv Zhengyu: One of the changes is I would spend more on coordinating the joint venture and localization matters. Basically, I spend more than half of the energy and attention on the brand.

　　Sohu Auto: How about the composition of the group of domestic project and the promotion situation?

　　Lv Zhengyu: The group of domestic project has been there for a long time. Both sides have representatives in the group. Part of them is in the charge of me, such as product planning, and there is no change to marketing organizations. They are preparing for production.

　　Sohu Auto: Carlos Ghosn, CEO of both Nissan and Renault is a very attractive business leader. Does his point of views have any impact on you?

　　Lv Zhengyu: The impact is great. The reason why I decided to join the Infiniti brand, to a large extent is encouraged by his personal charm and thinking ahead.

　　He left me very impressed. He is one of two or three heroes of the global automotive industry. Ghosn told me I need to build a sustainable development, foreseeable and profitable Infiniti business model in China. Moreover, he warned me not to join the price war.

　　Sohu Auto: Do you believe in fate?

　　Lv Zhengyu: I do believe fate. Frankly speaking, when I stood on the site of engine plant at the age of 1, maybe it was determined I still sitting here 40 years later. My mind has not changed, only gone through different stages.

　　For me, the automotive life is a destiny, it is a certainty. I feel very satisfied with my progress. Thank God for giving me such a good opportunity in the limited time.
